MTG Card Prices

Published October 13, Star City Games reported that Wizards opened the Chaos Vault for two new Secret Lair drops, reality-twisted takes on classic Magic cards. Duality Distorted includes Pyroblast, Thoughtseize, Desperate Ritual, and Tribute to the World Tree, while 怪異学校, or Strange School, brings manga-horror treatments to Attrition, Bitter Ordeal, Ophiomancer, Sign in Blood, and Soul Spike. Each drop costs $29.99 non-foil or $39.99 foil through the Secret Lair Marketplace, but Wizards has not provided a release date. EDHREC notes that Bitter Ordeal is receiving its first reprint and currently carries a $25 price tag, making this Chaos Vault less like a vault and more like a very selective filing cabinet.
